Introduction to Pangomm

The Pangomm package provides a C++ interface to Pango. This version is part of a new API for supporting gtkmm-4.

This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS 12.3 platform.

Install Pangomm by running the following commands:

mkdir build &&
cd    build &&

meson setup --prefix=/usr --buildtype=release .. &&
ninja

This package does not come with a test suite.

Now, as the root user:

ninja install

Installed Programs: None

Installed Library: libpangomm-2.48.so

Installed Directories: /usr/include/pangomm-2.48, /usr/lib/pangomm-2.48, and /usr/share/{devhelp/books/pangomm-2.48,doc/pangomm-2.46.4}

libpangomm-2.48.so

contains the Pango API classes
